It can be difficult to get our kids to eat enough vegetables, so I came up with this delicious smoothie that packs in 2 servings of fruit and 3 servings of veggies in one go! If you find your child is still a little resistant to drinking it, try using more strawberries and gradually switching over to more veg. Or try using a peach instead of the strawberries. Anyway you make it, you are giving your wee one loads of nutrition.
  • 1 cup strawberries, stemmed
  • 1 small carrot, peeled and chopped
  • ½ cucumber, peeled and chopped
  • ½ red pepper, seeded and chopped
  1. Put all of the ingredients into a high powered blender with ¼ cup water and puree until smooth.
