For those of us who sometimes are running out the door at the last minute, there must be a nutritious and delicious way to have breakfast. This smoothie is very alkalizing for the body which means that during cold and flu season, it is a great defense to prevent getting sick.
  • 1 tbsp spirulina
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 2 tbsp raw almond butter
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 banana or avocado
  • 1 scoop vegan protein powder (optional, increase coconut water)
  1. Put everything into a blender and mix until smooth.
  2. Enjoy!
