Broccoli and cauliflower are members of the cabbage family, also called cruciferous vegetables. These baby's are full of very powerful antioxiants like indole-3-carbinol, DIM and sulphorophane which help to fight estrogen related cancers. Something else I love about this salad is the goji berries. Goji berries are another source of antioxidants. In fact, goji berries are one of the richest sources of carotenoids, which are found in red and orange fruits and veggies. Goji berries are a superfood containing 21 trace minerals, B vitamins, vitamin E and all 8 essential amino acids.
